Welcome
What a great year 2012 promises to be, The Queens Jubilee, the Olympics and the anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic a year of colour and memories in store, along with those events come a usual scattering of Bank holidays and the diving opportunities to be taken advantage of.
The club approached a hard boat skipper about diving the Titanic, who said, he'd be prepared, providing he had a full boat to take us to Lands End and to drop us all off. Having decided that the surface swim would be too long we moved the focus to alternative dive sites.
In August we travel North to the western Isles of Scotland for a week and later the same month travel west to visit the Skelligs off of the coast of Southern Ireand, with nil visiblity available through the frosted Guinness glass but excellent in the adjacent sea.
With the club owning its own boat the rest of the calendar fills up with different members leading the pack like lemmings toward the sea, anywhere from Littlehampton to all slipways west.
